  I LOVE Gwendolyn's. Gwendolyn is SO experienced and so amazing at cutting and coloring hair. I can't imagine going anywhere else. She always has great recommendations but listens very well to what I want. Sometimes I go in there knowing EXACTLY what I want and other times I let her 'do her own thing'. I usually end up liking it when she takes the lead, but she ALWAYS delivers exactly what I want.
  
  When I've gone to get blowouts at places like The Wow Bar the stylists ALWAYS ask me where I got my hair cut because it's so remarkable.
  
  As for the first review, I'm very skeptical. Honestly, it doesn't sound AT all like Gwendolyn. I've been seeing her since I was young, she's seen me through my awkward teenage years and into my mothering years. I have never felt judged once going there, no matter what crazy thing I wanted to do or how 'disheveled' I came in looking. She does everything for me, hair, nails, color, eyebrows (which I let grow out pretty wild before I come in again) and is always kind, polite and gracious with her service. She has cut my hair at every length (from super short to very long) and has done a fantastic job every time. I've been to other 'high end' salons, and have always returned to Gwendolyn because of her service and expertise. I'm not going to be 'shopping around' for a stylist anymore.
  
  I HIGHLY recommend Gwendolyn's to anyone.
